On November 2nd, the campaigns for statewide office draw to a close, and the date provides all of our candidates with the results of their hard work. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to cast a vote for your principles by voting for Libertarian candidates in every race you can, and to vote “No” on all of the amendments and the referendum.
When the polls close at 7 PM on Tuesday, we will gather at The Georgian Terrace to celebrate all of the hard work we’ve put in this campaign season. On behalf of all of our statewide candidates, the officer team, and the Executive Committee, I invite you to join us in that celebration and to look to the future as we continue the fight for liberty here in Georgia. We encourage you to bring your friends and family, as the 2010 General Election comes to a close. We will provide hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar is available. If you need a fuller meal, the hotel has an excellent restaurant on site.
If you haven’t already, please RSVP by sending us an e-mail or sharing your intent on the Facebook event we’ve set up.
A lot of focus this election has centered on our candidates, but it is important to recognize the support provided by the party. If you have not joined as a member, now is a great time to do so. If you are a member, please consider starting or increasing a pledge with the party. The results we expect to see at the polls could not have been achieved without the hard work of everyone involved at the party level, and we look forward to continuing that hard work in 2011 and beyond.
Thanks for all you’ve done to support the party and our candidates this year, and I look forward to meeting and seeing all of you at our Election Night festivities on November 2nd.
