The Libertarian State Leadership Alliance (formerly LP State Chairs) will be holding its annual conference from February 27 to March 1, 2009, in Charleston, SC – and you don’t have to be a state chair to attend. The conference is open to anyone who has an interest in the future and direction of the Libertarian Party.
In addition to the LSLA Conference, the Libertarian National Committee and the LP’s Bylaws Committee will be meeting over the weekend, as well. All meetings are open to conference attendees.
Rocky Eades of the Augusta area affiliate [Central Savannah River Area (CSRA)Libertarian Party] will attend the meeting along with Libertarian Party of Georgia Chairman Daniel Adams. Rocky will be live casting the meeting! That means we can observe our Representatives and party officers at work.
Rocky has set up a great website for this:http://www.mogulus.com/augustalibertarian. It’s already up and running, broadcasting a video collection of Libertarian oriented interviews, speeches, and conferences. Of course that program will be pre-empted by the live coverage when the Libertarian meeting is in session.
The complete schedule of events is available at the national LP website athttp://www.lp.org/blogs/donny-ferguson/lsla-lnc-to-meet-in-charleston-sc-youre-invited-to-join-us. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to see our Libertarian party at work from the comfort of our own homes and offices. Libertarians — the political party that actually believes in transparency!
