The Libertarian Party of Georgia extends our best wishes to Barack Obama as he takes on the hardest job in the world. Even though we voted for Bob Barr, Obama now is our President, as were George Bush and Bill Clinton before him.
We have serious policy disagreements with Mr. Obama’s proposals, and we are disappointed at some of his selections for advisors and cabinet positions. Over the next four years we likely will have many opportunities to point out Libertarian solutions to the problems he will address.
But we all are Americans, and Barack Obama is our President. We wish him good health and we look forward to turning his obvious intelligence into Libertarian wisdom.
