Libertarian Party of Georgia Welcomes New Executive Committee Members

The Executive Committee of the Libertarian Party of Georgia
met Monday, November 8th, and appointed two new committee members.
Greta Langhenry, of Athens, was appointed to the position of
Communications Director, and David Ziebell, of Cobb County, was
elected as an At-Large Representative.

Greta Langhenry is a second-generation member of the Libertarian
Party. She graduated with a degree in Linguistics from The University
of Georgia in 2009, and is currently enrolled in graduate school,
where she is the Managing Editor of the international journal for the
Society of Wetland Scientists, Wetlands. She is active within the
Athens Affiliate of the Libertarian Party, as well as the UGA Chapter
of the Young Americans for Liberty. “I truly believe in the
Libertarian Party as the Party of Principle,” said Langhenry. “I am
honored to have been appointed Communications Director, and excited
about the opportunity to share my love of and dedication to liberty
with the state of Georgia. The future of the Libertarian Party is a
bright one, and one I’m proud to be a part of.”

David Ziebell is also a long-time Libertarian. Ziebell, a graduate of
Purdue University, is a Project Manager in the utility sector. He was
the Campaign Manager for Dan Barber?s 2010 bid for Lieutenant
Governor, and was essential to the party’s Election Night Festivities
Fundraising efforts. “I’m looking forward to working with
freedom-loving Georgians and the Executive Committee on ballot access
and growing our influence under the dome,” said Ziebell. He joins
current At-Large Representatives Rhonda Martini and 2010 gubernatorial
candidate, John Monds, on the Executive Committee.
