The Libertarian Party’s national convention is May 28 – 31 (Memorial Day Weekend) in St. Louis, Missouri. At this year’s convention, we will be electing a new national chair, as well as the other officers and representatives to the Libertarian National Committee. It looks like this year, our region will become a double region, so we will have more representation on the Libertarian National Committee. This year, the Libertarian Party of Georgia has one announced candidate, Brad Ploeger, for regional representative alternate, and a couple mulling over running for LNC Rep and alternates. In addition to the representation, we will also vote on the national platform and bylaws of the Libertarian Party.
If you want to be an official delegate, notify our Operations Director so he can present your name to the State Executive Committee. The executive committee can approve your nomination and place you on the voting delegate list.
Contact our state party today if you want to be a delegate, time is limited. Send an e-mail to [email protected] or call 404.888.9468.
