Election Night Party!

We are working to put together a party for election night, November 4th. The goal is for all Libertarians to have a place to watch the results without hearing relatives and friends screaming about the other party candidates.

We have bodacious expectations for election night:

  • Look for Bob Barr to rack up more votes in Georgia and nationally than any previous Libertarian candidate for President
  • We think Libertarian US Senate candidate Allen Buckley will get more votes than any previous state-wide candidate in Georgia; he will have an enormous impact on the final outcome of the election
  • We think our Public Service candidate from District 1, John Monds, will beat the incumbent to become the first Georgia Libertarian elected to statewide office
  • We think our PSC candidate from District 4, Brandon Givens, will force a runoff election; the only question is if Brandon will be one of the runoff candidates!
  • We think Kevin Madsen will be elected to the Loganville City Council in that non-partisan race
  • As soon as we etch the party details in stone we will post them right here on the front page of the Libertarian Party of Georgia website. Please check back daily so you can make your plans to join us. Election day 2008 will be a great day for Georgia Libertarians!
